I just read this aloud to my 97-year-old mother, as she was eating her dinner. The whole entire time she was nodding her head, remembering the story, which she says, she read in a book or somewhere about 20 years ago. We were both touched, enchanted, and inspired. Thank you, Jim

Okay, wow. An amazing story at a terrible time for those children. Thank you for reminding me that the children of Ukraine are under bombardment for the sole reason a dictator can't accept rejection. History repeats itself, but it does contain the good to shine the light of honor and hope through the darkness. Thank you.
